Rear defrost sucks!

Why is my rear defrost only working on the top center of the window? The bottom half doesn't work at all. The top half only defrosts about a 6 inch tall by 12 inch wide square. Do I need to replace the whole back window? I cleaned the electrical connections for the window and it didn't help at all.

Hey man, at least you have electrical connectors. One on my window is busted off, so it wont work at all. Ever get that smoking problem figured out or are you just going to go with that other motor?

Nope, I have not figured out why it smokes. I'm not to worried about it now, it only smokes if I run the hell out of it and down rev.. I still have plans to do the swap this spring. I think it is something to do with carb. It will flood if I give it any gas at all before starting. It can be 0 degrees out and all I have to do is give it full choke and crank it for about 8 seconds.
