Rear Defrost ?

What can I do to make all the defrosters on the glass hatch work? Only the top 3 or 4 actually work. Do I need to clean the conections or replace the rear glass hatch or can it be repaired?

if the lines are broken/scratched they wont work but you can get a repair kit at any autopart store.

Has anyone said the heck with it and removed the defroster conductors from the glass? And it came out good, as in you would never know the defroster thingies were ever there?

^Hmm... not me I need the defrost, it has rained for the last 2 months straight here. Could they just work bad because of being old or is it worth trying to fix, I would really enjoy my defrosters to work seeing how it will rain for 4 more months.

Thanks
