Rear Brakes
How the heck am I supposed to get the hub off the axle once I remove the drum, shoes, and springs? It doesn't look like I can use a puller because there isn't anything to push against except the hub itself.

Tennis, anyone
The hub, or the axle ?? First remove the clip that holds the ebrake cable, then the clips that hold each shoe, then the spring at the bottom, the rest will come apart. The backing plate has 4 bolts, remove those. and loosen the brake line too. sometimes the axle is pretty hard to pull, if you can find a flat piece of metal drill holes in it then place it on the axle hub and use the lugs to hold it in place, now you have something to give you some leverge.

I'll give it a shot. I thought there would be an easier way to do this, no? Am I pulling the hub off the axle of the hub and axle out of something?
