Rear Brake Hose Question.
I am swapping out my 84 open diff / drum brakes rear for a 83 lsd/ disc brakes rear. As I understand it, the upper parts of the hoses are the same, but the lower hoses are different. Is this correct?

I replaced my lines with wire braided. Worth the switch no matter what.

Which hose? From the body to the hard line on the axle? I've always disconnected the hose from the chassis hard line and left the rubber line with the axle. Several 84 to 84 swaps fit fine. Never done 84-83.
