Thumbs down Rear axle bent. Of course! (gsl-se)

I needed to get my left rear wheel bearing replaced, so after pulling out my axle, I took it over to a shop that can have the new one pressed on. Simple right? Of course not. Turns out the axle came out easily, but it was bent enough where the new bearing isn't going to sit properly.

So now I'm on the hunt for a replacement axle that's in good shape. I was told that I needed one from a gsl-se. I thought the GSL's used the same rear ends, but I guess not. Is it a bolt pattern issue? Also, are the left and right axles different in anyway? I guess my main question is if I need to find a left rear axle from a gsl-se rearend exactly. Thanks.

I already posted in the classifieds but if anyone near San Diego, CA has a spare axle and willing to sell, please let me know.

ya i think that the pumpkin is the same ... but the GSL has the 4x110 and the gsl-se has the 4x114.3 ... you might want to try the for sale section for better results .

the pumpkins are a little different, both lsd, gsl has 3.90 gears while the SE has 4.07 or 4.08. That and the bolt pattern, of course.

I believe you can get a custom set made for $300. A company called Moser was it?

I got a rear axel out of an 85 gs...actually I have pretty much a complete car and 3 extra motors...so if you need parts hit me up...don't know if the bolt pattern is 4*110 or 4*114.3 though
