I wish they held more value, the 13" makes it almost useless. My son has 13" mesh wheels and finding tires was a mild chore. Rareness plays into this, I would not take any less than $500 although for a pristine condition I would entertain $700

Opinion on this can and will vary greatly. Rotor wheels are pretty rare, especially here in the US. The rotor theme built into the styling has a kind of odd appeal but its a matter of personal taste. If you really find them attractive or just like the novelty, you will of course be willing to pay a little more. If not, interest and value will drop off dramatically. Fancy way of sayin its a narrow market I suppose. You also need to remember that most current Rx-7 owners don't typically shell out big bucks for rotary unobtainium. If I really wanted a set, I suppose I would consider $75 - $100 per wheel depending on condition. Its a fair bit of manual labor to clean and polish a set of aluminum wheels. You can ask more, it just may take longer to move them.

This is an extremely accurate description.

They're rare, sure. But do most people want them? No. The small size and crappy tire selection makes them really hard to justify on anything other than a stock SA or FB. I'd say a $400 estimate is pretty reasonable. I feel the same about the 83 LE wheels as well, they're just too small and not a good tire selection.
