Well we have my car sanded down. Got the bondo on and smoothed out the hail damage. All we have left to do is fix a rust hole and we can paint. Still havnt really decided on what color scheme thou. I know its going to be red, some of it at least. What i aws thinking is everything below the bottom of the windows will be velocity (rx8) red and everythign above will be black. In order for me to make taht look good i will have to tint the windows so it matches better i think. Whats your thoguhts. Also, since im in the great state of michigan, window tint is illegal on side and front windows so what do you think the most i can get away with is?

 

I think it should look ok. I have a red and black paint scheme that is catching some flak at the moment, it is posted under new paint job. But I have seen rx7s painted that way and they look ok.

 

Don't do it!!! 2-tone red & black looks like *** IMO & I'm an artist. Even hate it on the Ferrari 355 & 512 Boxer. Dude, find a candy red in the cool range & just use the black trim door guards if you must.

 

put on the window tint...peel off the sticker that the place you put on will put on the car...throw away the receipt and claim igknorance...say it came that way...

 

the car was bougth a couple years back in ohio. I have the orriginal reciept so i may say the guy in ohio put it on
