Re-Speed Axle Retainer Plates. Worth it?

So as some of you know, I recently discovered i have a bent axle so i decided to get the moser axles from re-speed. I also notices on the drivetrain section they have Axle retainer plates that are stronger than stock etc.

What do these actually do, and is it worth it to get it or...? Are the stock ones bad? Anyone actually have these on their car?

Thanks in advance.

from what ive gathered they are geared more towars racing applications. in extreme conditions the stock axle plate may not be enough to hold the axle in. good insurance if youre a racer or have high power numbers.
