RB Strut Brace

So I bought a RB strut brace from a guy on here about a month ago for $150 and it was supposed to be in fine shape. After waiting over a month for him to finally ship it, he writes me this and I quote

"when I finally got around to taking the brace off my car, one of the four bolt heads that holds the brace to the perch broke off it really wont affect it at all. Let me know when it gets there."

Is this thing still worth $150, or is it crap?

Thanks

It wont affect it substantially since the other 3 are intact. You could drill it, then ezy out the broken bolt and replace it if you want. I dont know why he would try to remove those but whatever.

What is "ezy out"? That's what this guy said too.

You could drill it, then ezy out the broken bolt and replace it if you want.

IMO it is not worth the 150.00 anymore u should sell it to me for 25.00.. honestly I think it was shady of the seller to sell u something he dont have off a car yet or if he got it off and had problems u should have ben contacted first.. but either way with an easy out u should be ok!

I couldn't agree more! Like I said before, it took like a month for "rotary_sex" to ship the damn thing. I had no idea it wasn't off the car to begin with and then today he finally shipped and said oh by the way it is broken and sorry it took so long!

OK I guess it was off the car to begin with after looking at the for sale post again. I just took his message that he sent to me today as meaning he just took it off the car

"sorry it took so long man.
one other thing. one of the bolt head broke on the perch's when i took it off the car. it can be removed with an ez out i just dont have one. if you like i could refund you a few bucks for the trouble.

sorry again for the long wait.

-greg"

as far as flaky-- I'm just telling it like it is man

You know tracking numbers don't take effect the same day usually, they update at midnight for most companies.

if you get the part when it gets there, ship it back, and ill refund your money minus shipping its an easy fix seriously. i had it on my car for a test fit after that picture was taken. the bolt snapped cause i over tightened the thing and removing it i almost snapped my socket wrench.. i could have not told you. but hey i figured id let you know.
so let me know if you want some money back for an easy out or if you want to send me the brace back.

after you get the brace inspect it. if the only problem is the bolt, get some money back for the easy out and fix it. the end.
