RB Questions

Looking at the presilencers for the 13B and GSL-SE, is the obvious tube to run the 6-port's just welded to the side of the presilencer? Does it run farther down inside of the presilencer? I'm just wondering if a SS tube could be welded to the side to mimic the GSL-SE type?

Last thing i am wondering is on the exhaust components page, they only advertise a streetable header for an 84-85 GSL-SE. Is that also compatible with a 13B with no 6-port?

Hopefully these can be answered, Thanks ~Gavin

The GSL-SE presilencer has that exhaust back pressure tube going inside the presilencer and it travels up it a little bit. So no, you can just weld it on.

Any 13B header will work on any 13b motor. (except renesis) The intake ports have nothing to do with the exaust ports. the reason why they probably say its for a GSL-SE is because it probably has a bung welded in so you can use an O2 sensor.

hornbm is correct and the header will also come with an extension wire for the O2 sensor. Other than that the -SE header is not special.

The RB streetport exhaust system will not give you enough backpressure to open the acuators. Your options are 1. wire the acuators open full time. 2. open the acuators via the airpump. I wired mine open full time because I do not want to tap into my hose between the air pump and the ACV. I really have not notice any low end loss in power.
