RB mini pre-silencer

I just installed the RB exhaust setup on my first gen. I had bought it second hand still in great shape, but when I put the bolts on the mid-pipe flange the passenger side stud came out of the pre-silencer. Has this happened to anyone before? I didn't even tighten it as much as the other side, and it came right out.

it happened to me and it seems fairly common. just have to get a new stud welded in. seems kinda weak for such a good brand.

is the stud threaded into the silencer or pressed in from the back like a wheel stud? (i have an RB system, but i forget :O ) even tho ive installed and removed my RB system several times, ive never experienced this issue. but ive also used a torch to heat up the nuts prior to removal, and anti-seized them upon re-install

There isn't a thread on the end that came out of the silencer... I also wouldn't expect this from any RB product because of their notable reputation, but I tightened the other bolt until I could barely crank it anymore. The end that broke I probably didn't even tighten half as much before it came loose.
