RB Holley 650 DP on a streetported 12A

I've got an old RB modified Holley 650 double pumper that needs a rebuild.

It's my understanding that the 650DP works best on a bridgeported 13B. Maybe this carb's not even a 650. Could it be a 600? The guy I got it from said it was a 750. Heh, yeah right.

RB's website is down so I can't check to see if 600s have double pumpers on them. All I know is the manifold was slightly hogged out under the carb which is what RB does to their bridgeport manifolds, and it fits a 12A.

I've got a Holley to Nikki adaptor which fits a Holley carb to a Nikki manifold (purchased from Hayes in '96-'97ish). I've also got a '73 manifold which flows better than an RX-7 manifold, and a '79 manifold, and two '81+ manifolds. The project car the 12A is going in may be cramped for space and the RB manifold may not fit (won't know till next month). I'll probably need to use the Holley adaptor and a Nikki manifold ('73). Either way, I'll make it to work one way or another.

By the way guys, this project is practice for when I attempt a rotary 323 like this one http://www.badrotor.co.nz/featurejames.htm

I bet peejay can guess the identity of my 'practice' car

That stock manifold wont flow as good as the RacingBeat/Holley intake

Your better off buying it from RacignBeat about $200.

It looks like these carbs

It has a chromate finish, vacuum secondaries, electric choke, and RB's OMP rod lever connector and oil lines into the float boals.

I might sell it. I'll have to think about it.

It needs a rebuild, for sure. It's got spiderwebs in the barrels, the butterflies don't open all the way, and I won't force them, the floats can be heard moving inside when the carb is tilted which means they're not frozen. If I had a digital camera, I'd snap a pic of it. Yep, this carb needs a rebuild and it'll probably be as good as new.

I might keep it. Gimmie a while to think about it. Oh, also, does anyone know what CFM it is from the numbers I listed above? They were stamped into the choke horn. Should I look elsewhere? Thanks.
