Angry RB exh. trouble with idle rpm

I installed the rb performance exhaust on my 82' 12a. they gave me 2 plates to block off the air pumps. i found the place for the triangle piece but now i have this weird shaped one i don't know what to do with. the instructions(which were great by the way) say to take off the air pump... i did that but i still do not see where i'm suposed to put this piece... and now when i'm idle the rpms go all the way down to 100-300 when they're suposed to be arround 800... help!!!

pics? that would help. Block off plate is supposed to block off where the ACV was. Did you remove it?

I think theres an elbow on the right side of the engine facing the firewall that can come off, or needs to come off, and the hole blocked, 2 bolts?

I'm just going by memory - but, unless you remove the ACV, you will use only one of those blockoff plates for the emission piece that leads from the exhaust to the rotory housing. Some people remove the ACV, others leave it on. You don't have to remove it, and I myself opted not to.

My idle fell also, you'll need to adjust that at the carb.

The other blockoff plate is for the ACV, which is located between the intake and exhaust manifolds. I believe its mounted with three bolts.
