Rat's nest removal: wasn't that hard, but did I do it right?

I just finished ripping it off. Followed Banana Boy's tutorial, to some degree the procedure was partially done already. air pump had been removed, yohoo belt was in place, ACV was not removed but blocked (works for me). But there are couple of lines that I didn't do. One is the line that goes to the oil filler pipe. That has been like that for a while. The other one is the one that goes to the firewall line that goes to the charcoal thingamabob. That was like that too before. So the only 5/16 line went from the carb vent to the valve. Not sure where the oil filler pipe one is supposed to go. Anyways, Turn the engine over and it ran, even though I seemed to notice a slight miss here and there that I don't think was there before at idle. Possible that I had a small vacuum leak somewhere and now have to readjust idle mixture ? also, the connections to the solenoids, where are they supposed to go?

Anyways, it took me less than 30 mins. I'll take some pics tomorrow.

Yeah, i can almost garuntee you have a vacuum leak somewhere. Go through and doublecheck that all your lines are blocked off correctly and that your custom made block offs are secured...

Alright, will check into that. If nothing, guess will fiddle with idle mixture. It is actually not that bad, just a miss here and there, like it used to do before I had the engine rebuilt a few months ago.

Here's some pics. Shows cruise control going to first port, dizzy vacuum advance port 2, port 3 and 4 for purge valve for crankcase vent purposes - even though I didn't T it to the oil line port in the firewall, just hooked it up to the carb vent port - and 5 & 6 blocked off. A/C is currently removed so didn't have to T the line going to cruise control.
