Carb issues

Well, I took the air horn off my Nikki today, and adjusted and cleaned the float valves, and the floats. I fired it up, let it run for a few minutes (it was still warm) and shut it off. I fixed the stuttering at idle, and surging, but for some reason, if I wait about 2 minutes, gas begins to build up on the secondary throttle plates. So I restarted, and ran it again. I looked real close after I shut it off, and gas appears to be coming out of the throttle shaft!Nothing seemed to be running out of the secondary venturies. I did notice that the venturies do move a little bit back and forth, is that normal? Are my throttle shafts worn?

Please help, this flooding **** while shut off is getting very aggrivating to start at WOT.....

tap the banjo fittings and check your fuel pressure. also make sure your secondary float level is good. not too much.

Float levels are good, and the banjo bolts are tight. I don't get it.....You take the payment plan on carbs Sterling?

Just stick with it and keep tapping it. I came to believe its a rebuild blues type thing. They say when you mess with the needles they need to seat again or something, I let mine sit over night and it worked fine, I had the EXACT problem. I also made sure like 10 times the vent solenoid was working. You'll hear a pretty decent loud CLICK or CLACK . Just keep tapping and trial and error, they're real simple in stock form.

I try to be as flexible as I can.

Like Anex says, if that solenoid isn't hooked up...

The vent solonoid is the solonoid on the driver's side of the carb, underneath the fuel lines.
