rats nest removal done.. leaks...

ok so i removed the rats nest... ahh nice and clean... but... ever since my car has ran like crap. i know i have vacume leaks but i cant stop them. i have them pluged but i spray carb cleaner and the rpms go up..... so i was thinking maybe putting some gasket sealer stuff around the outside. if that would seal it alittle better. i dont know.

Use the carb cleaner. Get a straw nozzle like off a WD40 can. The you can pinpoint the leaks and fix them.

So are the caps bad? Or are the tubes themselves maybe bad?

if they keep on, coat the vac hookup with rtv around the sides and put the cap back on

are you certain it's the caps and not the seal between the spacer and the intake mani or carb? Do you have new or old gaskets (or are you not using them)?
