Resurrection! could someone post up pics of their finished removal? That would help this sticky. just a pic of what vacuum lines went where? Like a shot from drivers side to the carb

I'm going to be attempting this in the spring, and having done this on my old 82, I should be able to get it done right. I will attempt to get pics up of my work if this thread has not been updated by then.

I made a thread a while back on how I did it with my 80 and there is pictures. So far no issues or lung butter. It's easy just study your Hanes manual. Your just bypassing most of the solenoids and what doesn’t get bypassed gets capped off.

Challer is right though, get a copy of the vacuum diagram and make sure there are no leaks. The Series 1 cars are much easier to clean up than the later models.
