rat nest wiring mess

Since i cant get to carl's tutorial i need a quick question answeared. After removing the rats nest and nikki strip i can completely unhook the big wiring connector on the passenger side correct? Because im goin through the wiring diagram and everything i keep seeing looks like trash. Thanks. 85gs 12a mt.

Pretty much. I just started at the ends and pulled 'em back 'til I got to the connector, unplugged, and that's it.

Its either a yes or no lol. Po had hacked this wiring a little bit so its even more confusing. I know 1 of the wires plugs into the alternator. The rest i dunno or i dont care (i think). I just want to know can i unplug the big plug and throw away or not.

Yes, unplug the big plug. All that comes with it is redundant.

What timing. I have the same car and I was just looking at that big connector wondering exactly the same thing myself.

It's 60 here at 10:30pm, and I'm out in the garage in my underwear.
