A sunroof with a Targa Bar...

Sorry to tell you, they're nothing special. The Targa band is a part of the IMSA package that was available from Mazda as a dealer add-on/counter parts kit...

I have two Targa's for sale right now...

Is it the second one...?

Damn how much work, time and cost did it took to design that car that way? I mean, like what body kit was it use and how much fabrication and fiberglass was needed to make this car look the way it dose? I like the way it looks is very nice almost look like a new 1st gen but for 2005 lol.

How many 1980 10th Anneversary Editions were produced? (Celebrating 10 years of Mazda in teh US Market. Available in Red only... Came with a medallion that had a roman numeral "X")

There were 2500 1980 LS models produced. There were 5000 1983 LE models produced.

The 83 LE was kown as the GX here in Canada...
There probably aren't a lot of X AE's made, but I've seen several of those, and no Targas (the picture notwithstanding)...

The GX, I thought was the GS.

The 1983 LE was a GS with Chateu silver (Kinda like a sea foam greenish, I thought.) and it had 14 inch alloy BBS style wheels.

We had a GS model up here, just like you

But the '83 LE's were called GX's for some reason up here...
Weird, eh?

I do know that I saw none with automatics in '79 when I was test driving every one that the dealer could get in stock "That was fun, but how does the blue one handle?"

Wow, my '79 parts car must be super rare. It has an automatic. As rare as it is, I want to convert it to 5 speed.

The fenders look a lot like Z32 300ZX fenders, and the bumper looks like an aftermarket Z32 piece as well. I have no idea if that's what they actually are, but it sure looks that way. Maybe the guy who fabricated the parts just liked Z-cars a lot lol But yeah, it kinda looks like what it would have looked like if it came out in 1990 or something.

lookes like the front is off of a 90-96 nissan 300zx i think the front is a gtr front from stiillen, and the wing is just molded and its got a widebody.

The AWD 1st gen was something Rod Millen built in the off season to counter the Audi Quattro. It was mostly an experiment and was done to a tube chassis car using 626 FWD parts.
In the end,he still lost to Buffam's Audi.

There was a first gen at the local pick n pull with a one piece targa bar. I tried to pull it off, but it was pretty well stuck on there. Besides that I really would never use it as I do not personally like the looks.

your right, here it is, i wonder if anyone else has done the awd conversion since. looks cool. theres also more rare looking cars on this page, but i doubt many would be more rare than spool 32s car,

that roger mandevilles car and spool32s car are so far the most rare rx7s weve got, but as for rarest production rx7. thats another story
