Ok, lets stop this flaming thing. It's utterly pointless, and just let me make my last point. If you are interested in buying this item, check out the auction. If you don't, sorry for wasting your time on this thread. Let's all move on.

I'm sorry, Rotary Dawg. And I appologize for my 'Redneck never been nowhere' ignorance, too. (Don't make such assumptions!)

It's just that, well, I just don't trust you, that's all. I think you're lying. It just does'nt make sense to me that your friend (whos name apparently is "My Friend", judging by all your other posts mentioning him) who lives in Los Angeles- (near you?), would rather have you (who so desperately wants the lighter to begin with) try to sell it for him instead of logging on and doing it himself (what a meanie!), and that you would try SOOOOO HARD to push this thing (with FIFTEEN posts about it!) with apparently nothing to gain.

And "My Friend", perhaps not in contact with you enough to know that his biggest on-line market site for this thing is having a dispute regarding its authenticity, origin and availability, demonstrates no interest in either posting here to clear things up, or Emailing me back from Ebay.

(Uhhh- Yeah. That was me who emailed about the lighter.) See, I think "My Friend" is actually you.

And I COULD BE WRONG!!! BUT- I don't really care! See, that's the thing! I could'nt give a **** less, cause if you screw someone here they'll just be another opportunity for me to participate in another flamefuckfest that is originally none of my business anyway. It's what I do, man! I give out advice about the Nikki carb, and **** off all the people that I think are either completely out for themselves, or just plain fulla ****.

If a picture is crooked, I'll go straighten it. Might not look like it's crooked to everyone else, but I'll straighten it anyway.
You just look crooked to me.

Second reason I won't "Just let it go, man...just let it go!" is because I've been trying for quite some time to have a "Trashable Thread" rating system put in place along side the "Stars" rating so that as the threads that are good enough to be archived get saved, others (like this one) can get thrown out, as they contain absolutely NOTHING in the form of advice for anyone doing a search. This stupid *** ******* thread will come up EVERY SINGLE TIME someone does a search for the word "hood".
It's clutter, and it should'nt be here. It should be posted in the CLASSIFIEDS friggin section! If everyone did that, then this forum would'nt be so cluttered with ****, and the classifieds section would'nt suck!

All you ****'s need to relax, don't buy the thing! Simple. Why do you waste countless time on this person if you don't like him.

I'm glad you posted those pics that fucked up everyone thought it was bs man all it is is someone trying to do their friend a damn favor good lord! Maybe he is more interested in seing his friend get, what is it at now? $305 dollars rather than stick his friend for 20 bucks. Sorry but a real friend would probably do exactly what he is doing! I don't care if its a 1st 2nd or 3rd gen rx7 Its not the generation that matters its what really made the rx7 engine and the heritage!

You know, I always laugh when threads like this come up... you know why?

A) They're utterly useless, basically
B) They always start flamefests
C) They're why the forum is so freaking slow right now

soooo, if you want to keep filling the forum up with useless junk, fly at 'er... just don't complain about all the 404 errors and stuff around here then...

and I totally agree with pretty much everything Sterling has stated, for the record.

ALSO, going by the original posts, I was thinking the same thing sterling was. The photos on the Ebay auction page ARE photoshopped, the shadowing ISN'T right, and the serial number is "0000". That coupled with 0 seller feedback made me kinda nervous too. Now that I see the new pictures, it looks alright.

$306 for a damn lighter? That's insanity. You can buy a running Rx-7 for that, and light your cigarettes off the exhaust.
