Dude, that sucks. I had my subs stolen once (not that I miss them, they sucked) and the bastards took the faceplate off my deck. not the whole thing, but just the faceplate. WTF! I was really pissed because the faceplates cost like 75% of the deck...

Its been more than a year since this happened, and I still want to find the ******* that did it and run them over.

No ludicrous, I was not laughing at your pain or stuff or car. That sucks. I was laughing at other peoples detailed plans on what to do to the thieves.

That reminds me of when people broke into my old 93 Escort GT...popped the passenger side lock cylinder out with a screwdriver ( I assume) just to steal a tiny MTX box with an 8" woofer.

The thing couldn't be worth more than $5.

The retards didn't even open my leather case that was next to the sub in back, which had my laptop and $1200 digital camera in it.

Weirdos.

The Draino in the gas tank is one of those ideas that sounds like it would work, but most likely won't [on a Modern car]

The ping-pong ball would be too big to fit in the gas filler tube.

Of all the times I've heard this, I have yet to see anyone actually cause a fire by mixing the chemicals.......

Someone try it and let us know.

Ok, I'm less angry today. Ryan, sorry if I sounded bitter - it was just a shitty day. I took a look last night - they actually didn't do too much damage. They were polite enough to disconnect the wires. What couldn't be disconnected was neatly cut. Nice, eh. Farkin thieves.

by the time the gas eats away the adhesive, you're long gone - and then it goes kaboom.... would like to find the thieve's car...

Wait - that sounded terroristic. Sorry - nobody rat me out, okay?
hahahahahah sounds like a good idea

The hell of it is it'll probably cost more to fix the window and replace the dash pieces that it will the head unit (unless you have such things already lying around like I do.) Dumbasses do $500 worth of damage to get a $150 radio...
BTW - get an alarm. It won't stop anyone serious, but it'll make the casual thieves and crackheads go pick an easier target. Basic alarms are pretty cheap now-a-days, and it's not much more to add power door lock motors for keyless entry convenience (which is worth it to me, right there).

AND they stole the tag off my car. Stereo replacement, dash bezel, window and another $15 for the sticker. For a stereo they're gonna sell for $50 for dope.

Did I already mention that I HATE THIEVES!?!?
