japan never got the 13b in the first gen, but 12at instead
german horsepower vs. american horespower (.985......./1), so that means our cars make bout 102.5 ps
, assuming 1st gens make 101 rwhp. but...PS is always measured at the wheels, unlike most horsepower figures. not really a first gen thing but its new to me.

PS stands for "PferdeStärke", direct translation "horse strength". sie germans started it and essentially everyone but americans adopted it....we don't believe in metric
