someone around here made one out of a WRX hood scoop. If you want a true RAM AIR intake, like one that goes from outside to the carb drectly thats a different story because engine movement comes into play. I would find a cool scoop, buy it, measure dremel-cut and mount.
hey, i make things out of fibre glass, hoods, scoops, i can make you a custom
vent/scoop for your ram air setup. many styles and very reasonable priced.
on my 82 instead of a intake/scoop on the hood for my 'fresh air intake' i vented
the passanger side headlight lid, with a stock looking air cleaner canister i used inner cooler piping from the 'snorkel' to the radiator bulkhead. with the lids down is a straight shot from vent to air cleaner eliment.
i vent the light lids with your choice of style vent for $ 25.00 dollors each, using a metal 'stock' headlight lid(s) shipped and un-painted.. interested ?

www.cpracing.ca is in canada and they have a universal hood scoop in the mazda section. Its about $100 including tax and shipping.
