The 7 is just so much fun, it's like a go cart!!!!! My biggest fear is hitting a flippin deer. I just hit one with moms concorde a couple weeks back. I think the 7's so loud it drives all the deer away. Thats a built in deer alarm!!!!

Alright guys, I have a couple questions and problems about the 7. First off I was driving it today and it just started stalling. The stock fuel pump was also making some loud rattling and noises. And it's also leaking gas out of the gas tank. It was leaking out of the sending unit but I JB welded it and it's not leaking there now, but it' still leaking somewhere on the left side of the tank. Is there a notorious spot for the 7's to be leaking from the tank?????
About the stalling, could it be the fuel pump dieing? Or maybe it's the spark plugs fouling????? We let it sit about 30 minutes and it seemed to help. Thanks for the help!

Well I got the stalling problem fixed, it was the dieing fuel pump. So I put my blue holley in its place.......... holy, it does the job!!!!!! That pump is really loud!!!!! But I'm still leaking fuel somewhere on the left side of the tank. It only leaks when I take hard right turns............

Make sure you take care of this problem. On another car I owned years ago (not an RX-7) the alternator was always coming loose and eventually it worried out the mounting hole until the alt could never be secured properly. So it just kept on getting skewed and wrecking belts. What a nuisance!

Nice project. Yea deer are a problem. Better to deal with them head on and brakes than to swerve and risk flip or smash.
