Question Radio dead, relay clicking

Yep, radio died of unknown causes. Was working fine, then just didn't work the next time I used the car. Display light comes on, but that's it.

Now here's the only clue I can give you that might help to figure this out. When I turn the radio on/off I can hear a relay clicking down underneath the steering wheel.

Anybody have this issue before? A search revealed squat... Thanks for your time.

Oh yeah, stock radio/amp(s)/speakers....

The relay clicking you hear might be the relay for the antenna if you have a power antenna. That would mean you have power to the radio. Why the radio does not play is a good question.

inspect the fuses but i doubt it. the clicking relay may be for your power antenna but i doubt it. your radio might be dead from a burnt resistor. take it apart and you can smell it. if you want to keep the factory look like i did when i replaced my radio, i searched on ebay and the fs section and found and replaced a working radio. good luck

Thought I'd just give this a bump so the weekday guys could check it out. I'll try to check out the fuse in the head unit in the next day or two (working long hours though).

In the mean time, anybody else already been through this type of problem? Let me know if you've been there/done that. Thanks...
