IN Radiator Q

Well, my funds are basically gone. I am looking for an aluminum radiator to fit into my FB. Does anyone know of any lower cost alternatives to other FB aluminum Radiators? Anyone ever use a radiator from a different car?

Thanks

STOCK! STOCK!! STOCK!!!

Save your money -
A Stock Radiator is MORE than enough for any two rotor turbo setup.

the second gen radiator has been used but i cant stress this the stock radiator is very good its with a electric, they are really built well and the cool great.
If your changeing it for looks go ahead if you want it to run cooler remeber the cheaper the radiator the less cooling it will do and leak after time.

Also when dex cool (long life) anti freeze flows across aluminium it creats a ionic charge that will slowly decay and corrode the molecular structure of the aluminium

There's some suspicious $140 aluminum radiators on ebay right now.

Roll the dice and let us know how it goes.

Stock radiator is more that adequate for a 12A in the midwest. Check fast radiator or 1 800 radiator , they should have a distributor in your area.

Dex cool sucks don't use it. Just change your coolant more than once every 100000 miles

This is the radiator i have in my avatar and profile pic. It is in my car right now... with the beehive cooler and my turbo on there i cannot get my coolant temp to even get up to 1/3 on the stock gauge!!!! This radiator is awesome!

i did have to get different rad hoses to fit correctly.

I know you said cheap so this probably isn't it for you so i would say stick with stock if you want reasonable prices

Anyone know where you could buy a radiator core? I could just get a buddy to fab me one on the cheap.

Any decent radiator shop should be able to build one from scratch. I hit a deer at 80 mph in my old box van on the way to Denver. The old guy at the only radiator shop in Russel KS took what was left of my radiator, the top, and built me a bolt in one from parts on hand in less than 3 hours.
