I don't know what size it is, but I can tell you that the standard aftermarket peacock style is not the same. I tried threading one into a junk radiator I had. It destroyed the threads.

I hate the factory design where it's a "bolt" style and not a true petcock. This has always been one of mt pet peeves.

GSL-SE have a drain plug in their radiators? Fancy, if it was an SA, no drain plug, you pull a hose instead.

radiator plug/**** drain

I was hoping to find a better answer, once I hopefully get the plug out that is weeping and the head is twisting off of the body, maybe with easy out, will need to replace before the vehicle can be run or used, or even moved. Thanks for the info, anyone else have a idea of the size/correct thread.

Wait 12A's don't have the drain in the center iron for coolant?

And yeah stubby bolt for the win.

Yes, there is a block drain plug on the 12A but not a radiator petcock for draining the coolant.
