black magic fan mounted on the 81-82 radiator and oil cooler has worked fine for me for many years... that is the stock shorty and fmoc mounted below it with the short hoses.. one of the best mods i did for my 85... it gets damn hot in south ga.!!! car runs nice and cool... the nice thing about the black magic fan is that it comes w/ everything, and you set the temp sensor too turn on the fan when you want it too turn on...

I was going to do the FMOC addition to junk the beehive, but the 17" Derale fan and the Wizard aluminum radiator keep the coolant at 160 degrees Fahrenheit already, so there's apparently no need.

I may do it anyway for aesthetic purposes...that, and it's a bitch to get at the clutch slave cylinder with that ugly monster beehive cooler in the way...
