Radiator??

OK I want to upgrade my Radiator to a racing aluminum one but I can't find the place to buy it from or what modification are involved on installing one.
This is what I want JDM looks.
What you guys think upgrade to aluminum or stick with the ugly stock one?.
My is leaking and I think is time to change to something better and more efficient.

Thats what I did. Installed a S4 stock rad and the car runs cooler than it did with the factory S3 rad. The other thing is I love the look of the laid back rad.

You can go to pep boys or the like and grab some hose from there, shouldnt be expensive at all.

Looks like he still has the beehive cooler, I see no Oil lines anywhere.

Reference to picture 3, that is.

Interesting, I kinda had the same problem. Need a bit more room for the electric fan. But I bought Luis's old radiator off of Scott and am planning on using that.

Unless one is running a heavily modded engine, or tracking the car, the stock rad is more than sufficient and new replacements can be found for a little over 100 bucks and are a direct bolt in.

Blown7, while your install looks good, you're not reaping the benefits of the upgrade without installing some sort of shroud or mounting an E-fan directly on the rad. If you can find the shroud for a 2nd gen rad, your cooling efficiency will improve greatly, particularly in stop and go traffic on hot days.

The shroud that Luis had on his rad looks sharp, unfortunately I didn't get it with the rad.

the upper hose is a stock S4 upper hose, the lower hose is a stock upper S3 trimmed to fit.

Yes: I'm still running the bee hive oil cooler for now, FMOC getting installed in the next 3 weeks see below.

Trocoid: I have a e-fan to install in the next three weeks. The p-port is being assembled and installed into the car. It is a drag car only and occasionally on the street.

right now the factory guage reads at or just under 1/4 the way it is, the stock rad had the factory guage a close to 1/2

where did you find that radiator at? I was thinking of buying the 92-95 honda hatchie aluminum radiator. I will make new end tanks, mounting points, and nice ******* ducting. I Had three honda aluminum rads here two i sold with all the custom stuff to fit the SA OR FB chassie. They looked pretty sweet

I'm not sure where Luis originally got it. You could try asking him with a PM (Luiml73).
