Radar detector that fits in a standard gauge pod! I want!...
I've had a dual gauge pillar-pod that is still in the original packaging, just sitting out in the garage; never mounted to my A-pillar. Actually, I've never had a real use for it. Now, I've found a great use for it.
Check this out...

Anyone have any experience with one of these? Maybe I'll even get me an air / fuel ratio gauge to match it! Too bad they don't make the backlit color adjustable to be RED, though =P

I wouldn't get a Whistler because the Valentine One blows it away in performance.

The Valentine One detects radar about .7-1.4 miles further away than the Whistler.
If the Whistler is still what you want, you can get it from here for $279.99

My girlfriend bought me a Valentine 1 and that radar is the ****. I don't know how I ever drove without it with the hard case to carry it around when not in the car( and I never leave it in) It ran her $430 the shipping whatever that was she didn't tell me. Yeah if you have the extra pillar gauge it would look nice but as fast as I drive I would rather have quality and dependablity. Thats just my two cents.
