Rad swap?

In spite of my belief that a new clutch fan fixed my cooling issue... The hot weather this week proved that my cooling system still isn't up to snuff... on the 85 degree day I had to have the heat on full blast just to keep the needle slightly above half on the gauge. So I parked her and ordered a new rad and water pump from rockauto.

How big of a job is swapping the rad? Is it something I should leave to a professional? I don't expect the water pump to be a difficult job, but please warn me if it is...

I didn't order new hoses since they all look pretty new from the previous owner... I don't know if my water pump is bad, it doesn't appear to be weeping, but I figured since I've already done the thermostat, fan clutch, and ordered a rad, I might as well get the final component changed out as well.

Rad swap is really easy mate you'll be fine-hardest thing is getting the air out on the refill. Waterpump is also a simple job, just make sure you have the correct replacement gasket to hand.

radiator is really easy, its like 4 bolts and 3 hoses. water pump is actually harder, although if the radiator is out, its easier

I PM'd you 2 days ago I think. I'm in farmington, but I work in eagan.

The water pump I ordered said it came with the gasket... Let's hope it does..

How far are you from the eagan industrial park? (factory motor parts, coke refinery, etc...)

if you don't mind driving up some tools and coolant (i'll pay you back) we could do the swap at the warehouse I work at.
