racingbeat headers;quick question

Hey!
I was looking at racing beat headers for my '85 gsl-se. But I got a quick question. Are these headers Ceramic coated, or are they Stainless steel?

Basically, I don't want a plain jane mild steel painted header. Please let me know if these are rust proof.

Thanks!

I have an RB header. The problem with attempting to rust-proof any rotary header is the sheer temperature of the exhaust.

Doesn't happen so easily. That being said, you'll be hard pressed to find a header that's better than the RB unless you pay for a custom job.

They come chrome coated, if you buy the header alone that is. I think if you buy the whole exhaust system then the headers are not chrome coated, go figure.

I've had my RB full exhaust on for over a year, and no rust, even after crusing to the beach a few times, and getting the salt spray on them. I think it's all stainless steel, or at least the header and the muffler.

All my RB systems were painted black, never rusted, or blew out. Very heavy duty compaired to to comp. in my opinion.
