Smile Racing History

Hey guys I found a nice little page about the IMSA wins at mazda.com

http://www.mazda.com/history/rotary/r3-1.html

This was one of the reasons I like rotary powered cars; they have a pretty big and succesful racing history.

There's also a lot of cool information at http://www.mazda.com/history/rotary/index.html which is just a History of the Rotary complied by Mazda. Not sure if this site has already been talked about... but yeah hope you guys enjoy it.

Thanks for reading!

The rotary engine's exhaust system inherently had more exhaust energy to drive the turbocharger turbine compared with the reciprocating engine; the rotary engine was better suited to the turbocharger.
Good excuse to get/have a turbo.
