Racing beat exhaust on UK car
Hi Guys,
I live in UK and My 1984 Mk3 RX7's exhaust is on its last legs.
What I would love to know is will the racing beat 12a Streetport exhaust system fit a UK car ?
Rotechnics (the UK racing beat dealer) "thinks" that they do not but they have never tried ... I can't see what differences there could be (but we all know how Mazda loves to change stuff for no apparent reason)
Thanks in advance,
Mike

I would almost be positive if you get the entire exhaust, from header to muffler, it would fit. If not it would only be in the area of the hangers and such, any exhaust garage could fix you right up if that were the case.

Cheers guys Just what I wanted to hear ... looks like I'll be saving up for one ready for when my exhaust finally gives up the ghost (someones already had a go at welding the down pipes)
Racing beat claim they sound similar to the stock exhausts ? is this true as most aftermarket stuff (not that theres much) in the UK (Janspeed etc.) sound quite tinny
Thanks again,
Mike

RB complete exhaust setups for 1st gens sound awesome (not in a ricer kind of way though). They have a quiet, smooth, growl that makes you feel all giddy .

Sounds good (no pun intended ) Does anyone have any pictures of a racing beat street port exhaust installed ( looking at the tail pipes) I'd like somthing subtle and not a bean can
P.S In the UK we have "boy racers" rather than ricers ... basically the same but tend to run round in Vauxhall novas with huge wheels and plastic bodykits. Although I think the term "ricer" will be creeping over to the Uk since the fast and the furious was realeased over here
Thats why I like having a 1st gen Rx7 ... their quite unusual over here and most guys know of the third gens but know jack **** about 1st gens ... most coments I get over here are ... " look thats an Rx7... yeh but its one of those old non rotary ones".... fools !
