Racing Beat CArbs

I have put the racing beat carb on my car and there is a threaded hole on the right side of it. right where the choke thingy is at. It has vacuum through it and I have capped it off and have left it open with no difference. What is that hole and what does it go to. RB wouldn't send me any type of instruction with there carb because they said, I didn't buy the whole kit so they wouldn't send me any directions. What a Fu**ing *****.

From: Trying to convince some clown not to put a Holley 600 on his 12a.
I don't know what the port is for, but I'll look it up in my Holley book.

I'm very upset about the way RB treated you, but not surprised. It's what happens when a place gets so big. The good part is that if you try again, you'll probably get someone else on the phone. Maybe they won't be such ********.
Just tell them you bought it used and want to try it out before buying another new one from them for your better car.
Enticing them with the possibility of a future sale will suddenly make them more helpful.

-And always ask the persons name as SOON as you get them on the phone, before any questions. If he's a ********, you can call his supervisor.

I believe it is for attaching a Copper Tube to it so you wrap it around the RB Header 1 1/2 times around the Header Pipe to the Choke. This is how the RB Holley knows when to run at the normal temp.
I can fax you a copy of the instructions if you give me a number.
I run the RB Holley setup on my 12A and have had no problems what so ever.

My only problem is the ignition now. I think I'll go find a stock one at a junk yard. I gave up with the different ignition combos. Car just won't run right now. Ran great before with all of the RB stuff on and the stock ignition.
