GA Racing Beat carb and intake question.

What performance gain will i expect over stock carb and intake? The combo is the street setup.

it's quite noticeable. RB claims something like 25% increase but that's with their exhaust upgrade.

It's going to be quite loud that way, be prepared for noise tickets. I'm not a fan of Holley's on a rotary. And I just happen to have a Mikuni and intake for sale for a 12A. Much cheaper than the RB set up. PM me if interested.

rotaries are loud as f**K

i have a street ported 12a with weber carb...headers to a vibrant resonator (small) and a straight through muffler.

It is louder than you might think if you've never heard an open rotary before. its crazy

makes for pretty sweet flames out the back though haha

im probably going to throw a magnaflow straight in/out in the midsection where the original main cat would be.

Good luck with Wednesday... make sure to post pics when you get the car.

These guys are right.... without the proper muffler, you will hate your car. Yes 4X4's might run without them, but they have V-8 engines. Mucho different than the annoying exhaust sounds a rotary engine makes.

You will be quite pleased with the RB setup. You will need to upgrade your fuel pump and regulator as well. The Holley needs to run at least at 6 psi. Good luck.
