Racing Beat 12A Rebuild Kit's, ...........30011 vs 30011R ?

Hey guys,
I was browsing the Racing Beat website and checking out the "Rebuild kit 1981-85 12A". It cost $1,005.67, part#30011

And i notice there is another version of the kit called "Rebuild kit 1981-85 12A-Race" it cost $810.00, part#30011R

Why is there such a huge price difference? And the racing one cost less?
The descriptions seem to be the same. What is the difference between the two?
Anyone know?

I bet alot of people want to know.

Thanks

The race kit comes with race apex seals, being they're made of carbon and aluminum. They aren't for street use due to they're sealing at low rpm is hard, and they wear quick (i was told about 50 hours after break-in). When they break, crack or wear out they dont grenade the rest of the engine so its a little bit better when you rebuild it again.

So the Racing Kit is like a Disposable engine kit. I always wondered the difference between the kits myself.

Do not get the race rebuild kit if you intend to use your car on the road or if you want it to last more than 10-15k miles.
