Howdy boys.... a race port is any intake or exaust that is modified (opened up (street Port s are usually ground out to a open sooner , or usually made taller to allow the engine to suck more fuel longer before closing in or in the case of a bridge port, they drill and grind a eyebrow next to the original beside the original one so as to allow more fuel and air inside because it opens with larger port volume alot like a high performance cam does it keeps the fuel flowing longer before the PORT closes which increase s the amount of horsepower the car can make (remember you also have to pump up your fuel as well with larer injecters or more fuel pump volume and pressure to compensate for the increase in air you pull in with the larger ports ............street ports are done to create the best overall perfomance ,race and street then they use bridge ports, which also includes cutting into your water jackets which shortens the engines life and can create leaks, then when you don't need the car to idle around town or,try for gas mileage the serious racers go for huge ports cut into the face of the rotor housings about where your intake waterjacket is located they cut a hole into the rotor housing about 2.5 inchesas well as cut the same size for the exaust to exit. they also close the original intake ports of or fill them with devcon epoxy to seal them.but the larger the hole the less efficent the engine is at low speeds typical p (ports turn at8500 to 10,000 rpm but only really make high rpm power and are not usefull on the street so pick your race ports according to your typical useage for the engine pump your fuel up open up the exaust and beat the can of that rotary...good luck
Funny how he writes this like we never have seen this and this is all new "terrific" ideas on making power out of a rotary.....
I guess he thinks he is........
