Runscrappyfc3s, i didnt know they told those harnesses you were talking about.....seriously. Now about butchering my wires that is not needed nor is the harness. The connectors that was left behind when the stereo was taken out isnt cut. All i need(which i have) is those clips your crimp down on the wires off the stereo that looks basically like a flat head screw driver(totally forgot name). You can plug each wire indiviually into each wire on the stock harness. Easy does it.

Thanks everyone!
it hurts to read that ****

The info that djessence gave you should get you were you need to be. I would double check the wires for power before you get the stereo installed and the whole car put back together.

Your car sounds like the wiring is in great shape unlike mine. I remember the first time I hooked the stereo all up and installed and it did not work. I have to tear it all back apart just to find out that some idiot some of the wires under the dash.

rx7chris, i do plan to check and make sure its wired correctly before fully installing. Iv'e done a full install just to find out i forgot a wire, ahh what a pain. I am happy about the condition of the whole entire car, it was a VA car its whole life so there was nooo rust! Also got her for cheap,87k, and fully bone stock. Soon to put in a fully rebuilt/ported engine i did....just need to find a damn shop on long island ny that can press in my new rotor n stat gear bearings to slap her together! Thanks, guys!
