quick rpm's question

OK, i was replacing some vacume hoses in the nest area...i may have mixed up something, but it appears to me that when i speed off that the rpms seem to climb higher/faster, my question is, could something cause this that i did or did i fix something...i cant really tell that the car runs faster since i only floor it on occaision....thanks,,,,,,,,,,

Sounds good to me!!!! Is it possible you somehow did something to your vaccuum advance, that might make you rev quicker?

When you figure it out let me know what you mixed up, I may have to do the same I'll bet you had a vaccuum leak that you fixed, but I couldn't tell you which one.

i only floor it on occaision....
What the hell is this??? Don't you know driving hard is good for your rotary rocket, it clears the carbon out of there and keeps it healthy. 7000 rpm every single day for me

well i did go from a single vacume from carb.to the original two lines connected to the nest,,so maybe that was it,, the reason i dont floor it is that i dont want to break anything till all else is in working condition, but,,coming home today i had been noticing a car covered up in a garage,,well today the cover was a little blow off to the side,,it looks to be a first gen and it has the le style mags,,,sitting on 3 flats and dust covered,,,me thinks ill stop by and inquire about her........

Thumbs up That's our Lady!

Good work, Donna...
Really like the way you take on a challenge and kick booty. Yeah, check out that other car. As I already said in another thread, you can't have too many 7's...

Denny, from the 'ol corncrib...
