quick question about gas tanks

I am coming up with a plan to get the 13B-REW in my gls.

I know that a -se gas tank has baffels in it and stuff. I also read a few post saying that there 'hard to find', true?

I was wondering since 2nd gen cars are all FI, would a 2nd gen gas tank fit onto a '85 gls?

I have searched this and found nothing on it. Only threads that talk about -se gas tanks in early model first gens.

I have never tried to install one but I do know they are very different.
I do believe the fill side is in different locations on the two models so I would have to say it would not work.

I will pm you a person to ask for on a GSL-SE tank.

Or just use the factory gsl tank and run a inline FI fuel pump and a FPR.

Look around for a surge tank setup. That is what most of the Aussie guys are running for thier FI turbo swaps and seem to like it quite well.
