quick DLIDFIS question

Question quick DLIDFIS question
Hey guys, I'm just putting the dlidfis system togeather, and it looks pretty goo, the only question i have is the ideal gauge of wire for the positive and negative leads on the coils?

My next one will use 10 guage. It's as thick if not thicker than stock (black wire with white stripe), but not too thick to work with.
