83-89 clutch discs are the same diameter, 225 mm, iirc. SA's are 215 mm and TIIs are 240 mm.

well i knew my disc was 215 mm.. but the the 225 fit (not with stock pp) with the flywheel? well... now that i type that out... i think it would.. i would just need a nwew pp to go with the 225 disc right? my only concern is it fitting where the stock parts were..

Didn't realise you had an SA. Any flywheel can be bolted to up to the engine, it needs to match for balance though, so don't find an FB one and mount it.

I don't know if RB makes a light flywheel fo the SA, or if the FB, 225 mm one will work with the SA auto counterweight. I believe all of the NA flys are the same total outer diameter.

Will not work with the SA flywheel, and I wouldn't spend that kind of money on a basically stock engine, even with exhaust and intake. If you were boosted, perhaps.

I also have a hard time buying from a company that doesn't even sell 1st gen clutches. I bought my Stage 3 ceramic clutch for 300 shipped, but do not remember who i bought it from. Went in the 2nd gen first, then the widebody FB.

With intake and exhaust mods, a stock SA disc and heavier pp should do fine, unless you spend a lot of time at the drag strip.
