Lightbulb quick cheap and easy tailights mod

all I did was take off the cover. Looks nice to me. One prob you'll see is that the seal come out and my other tail is broke. Easy to fix though. To make it look nice when you take of the cover shine up the colored plastic nice on both sides, andwipe the reflective part if its dirty. Makes it nice and bright.

Maybe it's been done before, but here are the pics

I suppose it depends on how well the secondary (or primary, depending on POV) lenses in the FB's taillights are sealed.

I've never had the outer lenses on my current car because it didn't come with them. It's never had sealing issues even with it being parked outside in one of the wetest climates in North America. I wouldn't run them like this by choice though.

LOL, I have one of each. One of the outer lenses is missing on my car.
I will replace the missing lense as time and moneys allows, as I feel they look better. But, thats just my opinion.

well, I didn't mind it at all with the lenses in, but I also don't mind it with them off. To me it makes them look kinda like FC tails. To each their own right.

Also could someone attach the pics so they come up on the forum so you don't have to follow the link. I trie d but it didn't work.

Exactly. While it looks ok on your car, which is white, it would not look as good on my car. Bright red with the black panel between the lights just screams for the outer lenses. I'll let ya see what I mean:

I like the smooth myself, that's part of the reason I like the look of SAs more than FBs.
