Question, for those who have or had non-lsd differential,

what is the fastest 1/4 mile time you did with your non-lsd differential in your first gen? What year rx7 and what major mods did you have with the non-lsd rear when you ran that time?

Nothing timed. But the end of my drive way to the bridge is just about 1/4, And I can hit it at 90ish. SP 12A with 48dcoe and RB header and muffler.

I beat an '04 Lancer EVO with no LSD, had him by a few carlengths. So at least mid 13's.

13.8 sec with a 12A J-port and modded Nikki, extractors, no emissions, heavy clutch and light flywheel. Rear tyres were 215/50/13 Eagers.

With the setup now I think I can easily go 12's, but with the nikki I got lucky beating the EVO. I didn't have the nikki setup very well, it had a huge bog when I first floored it and it was nearly impossible to launch good. I somehow managed to get a good launch during that race through.

I had better 60' times with my '80 with open diff, than with my '85 with LSD.

The '85 weighs 200lb more, but trap speed calculations suggest that they're both making about the same power.

The '80 I would consistently do 2.1's with a big ugly bog around 30' out, the '85 I can't get below 2.3 and it never bogs.

This is with the same tires and same clutch. Literally.
