question on instriment cluster....

question on instriment cluster....

how hard is it to swap out the instriment cluster in an 82 gsl??? i manna put in one out of an 85.. is there any difrence in the plugs or anything?

Not sure about the plugs, but the overall design is different. Physically it won't fit into the dash. The dash on the 84 and 85 7's was different, updated to look more "modern". Its more angular than the earlier ones.

one from an 83 is a direct swap and has the 120mph speedo.
not too hard to install.
yea the 84-85 wont work.
you need a series 3, 81-83.

iv got a 79 in oregon it has a 120 i think dont remember/im in oklahoma right now but my 82 is only 85...any way ty for the help
