I have an 81 with the 80MPH speedometer. Can I swap out the whole cluster with the 84-85 GSL-SE with the 140MPH speedometer? The cluster looks like it is the same size from the pictures that I have seen but the guages are in different places. I cant find pictures of the backs to see if they have the same connectors. Will the connectors plug right in? Thanks

 

The 84/85 clusters have a different shape and connectors. It would take quite a bit of work to adapt. What you want is an '83 cluster. They are the same as yours with the exception that the speedo goes to 130mph. It is a direct swap.
