Question about TWM fuel injection on 12A

After reading the MegaFuel thread, I followed some links and did some research, and I noticed that TWM makes DCOE style throttle bodies. I was wondering if any of the forum members had put one of those on a 12a with a Haltech FI controller or anything, because I'd love to know how well those work.

Other than importing an FI 12a, or using this MegaFuel kit, I've never seen a real viable option for injecting a 12a. It would be great if it turned out these things worked well, I'm just curious as to if they really do or not. I'm wondering if two injectors shooting around the big bend of the upper/lower manifold that the DCOE carbs use would supply enough gasoline...

Anyways, if anybody knows a member with success/failure stories, let me know.

Check a few threads down. A kit is being developed using S4 or S5 upper manifold and a custom lower manifold and the MegaSquirt ECU. It looks VERY promising.

I know of at least one 12A with a 50DCOE on racing beat manifolds. Works very well with the megasquirt. You need to have a big cranking shot to deal with the wrap around, but other than that it is very good.

An extra pair of injectors on the lower is even better, but the overall benefits of this (above the 'it looks good') are still beeing studied.

it depends on the injector size you choose , but by the time your done fabbing up the plenum, buying the throttle bodies, fuel rails, velocity stacks it will cost approx. $1,200 to $1,600
