hey everyone. i have yet to purchase an rx7, but i plan to within the next couple of months. anyway i have a question regarding the size of the centre console in these cars, because i already have a music player lined up, i just need 2 know if it fits... if anyone knows the dimensions of the centre console could they please post them here? it would be very much appreciated. i need 2 know the width, height and depth, thanks in advance guys.

for s1 s2 or s3 console?

Go on Crutchfield.com. They will tell you what fits. What radio are you looking at? Maybe one of us has it installed already.

My 83 GS originally had the 2-**** type stereo in it, so it took some cutting and filing to get a standard DIN size unit to go in, but there was plenty of space to work and it came out looking pretty clean (see attached)

thanks for all the responses guys. anyway the thing is, im building my own stereo... i know that sounds weird, but yeah i just need 2 know how much space i have 2 work with, i think its about 17-18 cm across? not sure about height or depth though
