Question about the PST bushing kit.

For those of you that have ordered the infamous PST polygraphite bushing kit, which of these bushings does it include? (taken from their web site)

2 Lower Ball Joints
2 Upper Ball Joints (if required)
2 Outer Tie Rod Ends
2 or 4 POLYGRAPHITEŽ Lower Control Arm Bushings
4 POLYGRAPHITEŽ UpperControl Arm Bushings (if required)
2 POLYGRAPHITEŽ Stabilizer Links (most models)
2 POLYGRAPHITEŽ Sway Bar Bushings (most models)

I've got a new RB swaybar which from what I understand comes with bushings. The lower control arm bushings are not replaceable unless your replace the entire arm, which I did a while ago. So what exactly does the kit include???

Basically I am redoing my entire front end (RB springs, Illuminas, RB swaybar) and want to know which bushings I need to buy. If I am not going to be using half of the bushings in the kit, I'd rather buy them separately.

Thanks and Right on.

Lower Control Arm bushings, which are replaceable

Lower Ball Joints, also replaceable, comes with retainer clips for added security

All Swaybar hardware, you will want to use RB bushing due to the larger bar

Outer Tierod ends

Tension Rod bushings

Very Happy with quality and service

quality is great, service was great too. the only thing you'll need that it doesnt have is inner tie rod ends. i just sifted through my used pile and found the 2 best hehe

also might wanna replace your idler arm bushings at the same time

anyone know where to get new pillow ball mountson the cheap or should i just get c&c plates instead?

I would go C&C plates if you can afford them, otherwise, are the stock bearings replacable? If you can get them out, you probably can get a number off them and get replacements at a bearing supply company.

So it's the UPPER control arm bushing that aren't replaceable? I know I replaced some control arms not too long ago....not sure which ones.

So basically just get the kit, but don't use the sway bushings since those come with the RB bar. And then order new inner tie rod ends? From the dealer or ??

Thanks and right on.

We don't have upper control arms on our cars. It's not recomended to replace the ball joint BUT it is doible, I just put a P-S-T kit in a few weeks ago.

Inner tie rod ends can be had at your local parts store or victoria british.

I personally would use the PST bushings on your sway bar as well, just make note of the diameter of the sway bar on the order form.

If you haven't already replaced your idler arm or at least the bushings, go ahead a do that while your at it.
